This tour is for women only. This is a Christ-centered tour so Jane Austen's Christian religion, as well as my personal faith in Christ, will likely be mentioned throughout the tour. If you think you might find this offensive, please seek another tour to enjoy.
All rooms consist of two twin size beds. Beds and rooms, in general, are usually smaller than American beds and rooms. (I liken the UK's twin size bed to what I slept on in my college dorm in the 90s!) Beds will be individually made up but may be close together. This is standard practice in most UK hotels with shared occupancy.
Hotels have been booked close to train stations, but tour members should expect to walk a short distance with luggage. This is a walking tour and participants should be prepared to walk several miles per day, in total. Many streets are cobblestone and ancient sites like the Roman Baths will have areas of very uneven pathways. Good, broken-in walking shoes are a must so start breaking in those cute shoes now!
